The modern interior is a reflection of the inner world of its inhabitants. The confident, courageous nature of the design of this apartment leaves no doubt as to who its owner is.

Customers, a couple, turned to the design bureau of Anna Kulikova and Pavel Mironov with the wish to design the interior for their son. Parents bought a separate accommodation for the young man as a gift for graduation from the institute and believed that he would live there independently, and in the future the apartment could well become a family nest. Accordingly, first the designers developed a planning solution, having organized the space rationally and logically. So, the public zone is built on the principle of a studio. A wide open portal connects the spacious hall and the living room. She, in turn, is combined with the office and dining room, and only the private part of the apartment is autonomous. In terms of functions, there is everything that a modern person needs: a living room, a study, a dining room, a bedroom and two bathrooms. A set of rooms fully meets the needs of a bachelor. In artistic terms, customers wanted something more impressive, more interesting than just minimalism or brutal high-tech, which is usually associated with male interior. The choice fell on a style rich in textures and especially expressive in terms of decorative tools and techniques — the ar-deco. “We needed to create a solid, status interior, spectacular and at the same time cozy, warm,” says Anna Kulikova. —Ar-deco perfectly fit into our concept, although for a change we made the dining room in a classic way, using American furniture and elegant floral wallpaper with branches of tangerine tree. Dense colors, mostly brown, lilac and golden hues, makes the interior emphasized strict, manly restrained. "
