Monte Carlo is called the capital of high life. It has its own ruling dynasty, the best casinos are concentrated, the most interesting stage of the Formula 1 race is being held and Paris Hilton parties are being held. In short, the place is more than pathetic. The owners of this villa ambitions are also not alien. To begin with, they named their estate in honor of the palaces belonging to the Versailles complex, the Grand and Lesser Trianon, at various times occupied by members of the royal family. In the case of this mansion, aristocratic allusions are quite justified: it once belonged to representatives of the Hapsburg clan.
The architect Antonio D'Andri was invited to restore the building, which for a long time was in ruins and lost its splendor. Antonio, an Egyptian by origin, studied architecture and set design in Milan. First, he worked in the second specialty, made the scenery for the films Luchino Visconti. He began to decorate the interiors rather by chance, as he received an offer that could not be refused: he was engaged by the fashion designer Giorgio Armani, for him D'Andry built a luxurious house in Milan.
Antonio says that in this mansion, a masterpiece of neoclassical architecture, he was struck first of all by the verified proportions. He did not change anything in the external decoration, only renewed the dilapidated facades. The main work was carried out in the interior. Taking the trouble, the architect planned out the future from the very beginning, as he wanted to create a harmonious interior, where each element has its own role, and they do not argue, but complement each other. So, he immediately decided to furnish the house with furniture of the famous Italian factory FIGLI DI ISACCO AGOSTONI in design
The mansion is surrounded by a landscape park. Focusing on the device of the Mediterranean villas, D'Andry arranged a swimming pool next to the house, decorated with azure mosaic that reminds him of the landscapes of the Cote d'Azur, where he worked a lot. Also built a guest house that serves as an entertainment complex: there is a gym, sauna and billiard room. The architect says that in this project he wanted to embody his ideas about the life of the Roman patricians, the elite of society, and therefore it turned out so solemnly noble.
