Например, в нашем проекте они придали модернистскому интерьеру индивидуальность и сделали его ярким, запоминающимся»

Какие задачи поставил перед Вами заказчик? Natalia Eliseeva: Владелец хотел, чтобы интерьер был непременно современным и в то же время наполненным смелыми идеями. На первом месте стоял вопрос функциональности, поэтому мы и обратились к модернизму, где функциональность возведена в абсолют. Для своего времени это было самое прогрессивное течение архитек­турной мысли. На смену сложному декору, витиеватым формам пришла новая эстетика, поставившая под сомнение многовековые традиции, отринувшая предыдущий культурный пласт. Как правило, смена стилей происходит путём отрицания опыта предшествующих поколений. Это естественный ход развития. Собственно, спустя сто лет эта новаторская эстетика тоже стала классикой жанра. И тем интереснее работать с таким материалом. Мы примерили идеи «Баухауза» на себя, чуть скорректировав их на современный лад. В целом мне хотелось привнести новое дыхание, актуальность в уже сложившуюся «систему координат». При этом, оставаясь в пределах модернистской направленности, мы поэкспериментировали с цветом, сделали пространство не только функциональным, но и в чём-то эффектным.

SALON: All signs of modern style are seen in the interior. And yet it feels warmer and more comfortable than ordinary minimalism. How much color gamut influenced this perception? —In fact, I myself really like laconic white interiors. But here we had to develop the theme, to go a little beyond the usual minimalism. The concept of the project is largely built on color. I used a curious combination where pure and mixed colors are contrasted, as well as textures. Wood and metal, glass and leather, matt and lacquered, warm and cold — the contrast in color and materials. An open red is associated with different shades — both cold and warm. He and a few shades of anthracite soften calm coffee, and graphic wenge serves as an accent. With the help of the most active — dark ruby ​​— the main zones in the open space of the living room were identified. That is, here the color also works on functionality. Natural materials create a feeling of comfort, and glossy surfaces, depth. Their combination, in turn, brings a poignant note to a complex color history.

S: The living room space is organized according to the studio principle. Why? —The owner is a very dynamic person, he has many different interests. He wanted the space to be multifunctional, and in the living room there would be a place for home cinema, for the library, and for the kitchen-dining room. Therefore, an open plan perfectly matches his expectations. But to combine the library, home theater and kitchen in one volume is far from easy. Some kind of balance is needed so that the functional zones gently flow into each other, and the utility will coexist with the representative character of the interior. We hid all the kitchen appliances in the cabinets, and in order for the kitchen to be perceived as one with the other zones, we made open shelves for dishes according to the principle of the library, next to which it is located. The kitchen island and the red ceiling act as art objects, thus smoothing the contrast between such a utilitarian area as the kitchen and a home cinema.
