Created by project Valery Kashuba, the interior of this apartment demonstrates how to create an atmosphere of luxury and solemnity in a modern functional space.

The interior of her new apartment, the customer of this project, imagined as a luxurious, but at the same time functional space, designed in the classical style. To translate this idea into life was entrusted Valery Kashuba.

“The owner of the apartment took an active part in the development of the project. She clearly knew what the appearance of the future interior should be, so the work on the project was very easy, ”says the architect. This feeling of freedom was transmitted to the interior itself. The basis of the project was a convenient and functional planning solution. Half of the apartment to the right of the entrance is given to private rooms. Here are the master bedroom, children's room and dressing room, which can also serve as a guest bedroom. The premises of the day stay are concentrated on the left side of the apartment. The common space of the living room and dining room is separated from the kitchen by a bar counter, which is effectively framed by two pairs of columns on pedestals. A similar solution is found in the design of the reception area: the frieze and its supporting columns form a kind of arch separating the hallway and hall.

Although the architect did not have the task of maintaining the interior in any one style, the features are most vivid and clear in the appearance of the apartment. Empire. They are manifested primarily in the active use of stucco decoration and allusions to monumental architectural forms in the details of decoration and furniture. So, for example, the legs of the kitchen table and chairs FRANCESCO MOLON have the form of columns. Already in the form of pilasters, this motif appears in the decoration of the doors and made by the author’s sketches of the BOISERIE ITALIA cabinets in the living room and hallway. The use of gold-plated elements in stucco decoration and furniture decoration helps emphasize the luxury and solemnity of the interior, which is also a characteristic feature Empire. The desire of the hostess to make the interior in light pastel colors perfectly fit into the style of this trend. The walls in the public area and the hallway are covered with ivory and delicate pale yellow wallpaper. At the same time, upholstered furniture is solved in a more active color scheme: in upholstery of sofas and chairs JUMBO COLLECTION There are blue, burgundy and green shades. The delicate and light character of the interior is emphasized by floral motifs in the decoration of the walls, floor, furniture decoration. A wall painting in a public area depicts bouquets of roses, a chandelier decorated with crystal flowers. G. MOSCATELLI in the kitchen area, the same motive is repeated in the upholstery of upholstered furniture. The floor in all residential areas of the apartment is faced with WOODEX natural parquet flooring, the floral pattern of which was specially developed for this project. The attention given to this decorative component in this project made it possible to create an elegant variation on the theme of a luxurious classic interior in the conditions of a modern apartment.

Architect Valery Kashuba: “In my work on this project, for me, the main reference points were such concepts as luxury, lightness and functionality. I wanted to see all these features in the future interior and its owner. The use of classical architectural forms and decorating techniques, as well as furniture made under the impression of antique designs, has helped to achieve the desired result. ”
