The Aldemar Royal Mare Hotel deserved more than one award - it became both the best hotel in Greece, and the best beach hotel, and the best resort with a thalassotherapy center. Thalasso center hotel, named Royal Mare Thalasso, by the way, was the first in Greece and still remains the most respected. It uses a unique cosmetics brand Thal’ion, made from seaweed.

The hotel is located near the capital of Crete, the city of Heraklion, and the resort town of Hersonissos. On the ground of thorium there is a flowering garden and 29 (!) Pools.
