It is gratifying that this year to everyone we interviewed, the Cologne exhibition seemed to be gaining momentum again. Everyone was enthusiastically embraced by the fact that in 2011 the kitchens would be presented again at the imm cologne

Anatoly Mukanaev, FTF Holding: “In my opinion, without furniture brands, any furniture exhibition is not an exhibition. At last this year, the leading kitchen companies have announced that they are coming back and will be represented at imm cologne from 2011. I am very happy about this! This year, all our partners have noted a greater number of visitors compared to 2009. Once again, I liked the level of organization of the exhibition. The Germans are true to themselves. "

Philip Uniersitycompany Jungle: “This exhibition is very important for me. We specially create some collections of furniture for Central Europe. Maybe Milan and a more “international” exhibition, but the Cologne, in my opinion, is no less significant for both producers and customers. This year has shown that there is no crisis in Germany as such. Because everyone presented new items. And if we talk about visitors, then they were like in previous, pre-crisis years. I talked with many furniture manufacturers, and everyone has only optimistic forecasts for the future. ”

Peter Mali, designer: “For me, imm cologne is primarily an important source of information: you can understand the latest trends in international furniture design. This year there were a lot of beautiful and creative stands. I myself develop and design stands for many companies. My studio has been working on sketches for months, we coordinate everything: the arrangement of furniture and accessories, the combination of colors and materials and their optimum lighting. Therefore, I always pay special attention to how the furniture is presented. ”

Алексей Лебедевcompany Konzept: “If to compare with last year, the exhibition, undoubtedly, has come to life. And not only by the quantity, but also by the quality of the presented novelties. We were interested in old partners and manufacturers, in particular OF HEADQUARTERS, PASCHEN, FINKELDEI ... As always, they presented very interesting novelties. And, of course, it was nice to know that next year the kitchen will be presented at the exhibition. ”

Элмар Дюффнер, президент Ассоциации немецких производителей мебелиcompany Poggenpohl: “Half a year ago at the furniture makers' forum I suggested that the participants return in 2011 to the Cologne kitchen exhibition. German kitchen manufacturers are among the best in Europe. The crisis, I think, was almost over, and therefore many companies enthusiastically accepted my proposal and said “yes”. For imm cologne, it’s the return of the previous status and confirmation of the fact that our exhibition is one of the leading not only in Europe, but also in the world. ”

Mauricio Riva, Riva 1920: “Our company has been participating in the Cologne exhibition for many years. Every year, in addition to new collections, we try to present some unusual project. We have replaced some wooden piles in Venice that have become unusable, and from the old tree we offered the most famous architects and designers to create something. The project presentation will be held this year in Milan. ”

Victoria Baryshnikova, "Neuhaus Gallery": “In 2010, the furniture exhibition in Cologne (in terms of top brands, I don’t try to judge about mass brands) is perhaps the strongest in the last 10 years by the number of significant new products and promising solutions. New German fab ricks do not just destroy the stereotype of the severity of German design, it is a real challenge to Italians as stylesetters. Cabinets Reef brands INTERLÜBKEwith a bold embossed façade solution, avant-garde tables Joco, Vladi and Cuoio chairs in the WALTER KNOLL collection, Yuca chairs COR, Stingray's stools on the stand DRAENERT demonstrate a fundamentally new approach to the forms, supported by the impeccable workmanship traditional for these brands ”.

Alexander Yudin, "Interiors Extra Class": “I would call this exhibition an exhibition for professionals, because here you can calmly choose the right samples, calmly talk with manufacturers. And imm cologne is not purely German, as many think. Both Italians, Frenchmen and Dutch come here with pleasure. The main exhibition here is concentrated in four or five pavilions. And this is good".
