On the ground floor of the old mansion, which once belonged to the merchant Kiriakov (Petrovka, 23/10), is now located in an unusually cozy restaurant "Kitezh". Its interior is associated with the legend of Kitezh-grad, which, as you know, miraculously escaped from the conquerors, sank to the bottom of the lake Svetloyar. It was believed that the city was inhabited by the righteous, for the wicked were not allowed into it. A restaurant visitor will immediately feel the beneficial energy emanating from the old-breathing walls, natural wood furniture, low ceiling beams, wooden floors, as well as touching old-time gizmos, many of which date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. By the way, some of these gizmos (huge keys, jugs, coins) were found when clearing the premises. One of the jars, filled with coins, the creators of the interior even decided to leave mounted in the wall. And a few coins dropped to the floor will remain intact for a long time. "And whoever finds this city to this day, let him step into it, eat the dishes and drink it, gains the power of the great and faithful thoughts, and whoever steps on the old coin found in the fortress, gains money."
