Company Electrolux invited 3 thousand young designers from 88 countries of the world to answer the question of what home appliances will look like in 15 years, in 2020. The winner of the competition was the project of Singapore designers Wendy Chua (Wendy Chua) and Gabriel Tan (Gabriel Tan). They invented the Air Wash washing machine, which washes without water, using negatively charged ions, compressed air and special deodorants.
