American architects, designers and designer brands are showing increasing interest in European design weeks. Immersive installations, collaborations, street sculpture or chamber screenings - the whole range of stage techniques, marketing moves and an impeccable collection quality item - that’s what fashion capital Stephen Hall, David Rockwell or Matter Made brand can surprise.

Apparatus
The Manhattan Studio Apparatus called its project Act III, it logically follows the two previous acts, exhibitions in 2016 and 2017. The duo of Jeremy Anderson and Gabriel Handifar shows the interior in the Brera region: light and furniture, consoles and wall lamps, handmade and expensive materials - brass, leather, marble, glass, porcelain and horsehair. • Via Santa Marta 14

Matter Made
Since the creation of the brand in 2003, the founder and creative director of Matter Made, Jamie Gray, has relied on world-class design talents. Fashion items by Canadian Philip Maluin and Brazilian Pedro Paulo Venzo, British Fay Tugud and Italian Luca Nichetto added a collection of brutal vases designed by a Brazilian modernist Sergio Rodriguez. Fernando Mastangelo
His brutal racks, tables, mirrors and stools are designed so that they can recognize the lines of endless mountain chains and sea distances. Calico Wallpaper x Lindsey Adelman
Calico Wallpaper Studio and lighting designer Lindsey Adelman created a joint exhibition called “Beyond the Depth”, built on the study of chemical reactions of salt with various reagents. COS will introduce a large-scale installation by Phillip K. Smith III. Inspired by the Renaissance architecture, Milan sky and laconic Swedish COS design, Philip C. Smith III invented an object for a specific place - a 16th century palace and its courtyard: “My work will be a reaction to the environment, interacting with both the urban and the natural landscape . Gabriel Scott
Simple establishment Bar Basso - a place known since the 60s. The owner Maurizio Stochetto in the 80s was friends and hosted designer young people who came to train and exhibit in Milan: James Irwin, Ron Arad, Jasper Morrison, Ross Lovegrove.
