The name of the bedroom Amanda is in tune with the Italian amo— “I love.” The head of the family company Alberto Meroni told us why this bedroom deserves love.

Alberto Meroni began with a story about the traditions of the factory Meroni Francesco e Figli: “Our family business is almost 150 years old: my great-great-grandfather founded the factory in Seveso (Brianza) back in 1868. Since then, the skill is passed down from generation to generation. We carefully preserve the ancient traditions of furniture production in historical styles. This bedroom is a kind of masterpiece. Here we creatively rethought the style of Louis XVI. In a single composition — cabinets, boiserie and a bed. The basis of the furniture is beech, and the carved details are made of lime. All handmade. Painted and painted furniture also by hand. Decorative elements (such as carved pilasters, profiles, headboard) are trimmed with gold leaf. The bedroom was very delicate, so I personally would bring here a couple of “brave” accents, for example, a Napoleon III style chair and a velvet cushion to match the upholstery of the chair.
