The caravan of Dr. Gustav Winter, built in the 19th century by Finnish architect Eelie Saarinen, is still preserved on Cape Taruniemi (in translation from Finnish “Fairy Tale”). The restaurant, named after the owner of this house, the author of the project made in the classic Scandinavian style. “The main thing in this project is the penetration of the surrounding nature into the space of the restaurant, and vice versa, says Rinat Abdullin. Light plays a leading role here, so we everywhere hung up the same copper lamps made according to our sketches. The slits on the ceiling give a very unusual light in the evening — you get a fabulous shadow theater. Since this is a country restaurant, in the decoration we tried to use natural materials: wood, stone, copper ... In the winter, a fireplace always burns in the restaurant. And in the summer, guests like to relax on a two-level terrace, which offers a beautiful view of Ladoga. ”
