В этой квартире соединились предельно рациональная эстетика, основанная на формальных приёмах "чистого стиля", и весьма сложная, прихотливая пространственная структура. О законах стиля и субъективном видении пространства рассуждает автор проекта Alexey Shapovalov It was in the planning decision (and not in the decoration or decoration) that the owners wanted something exclusive, unexpected. I was also interested in experimenting with space, especially since the source material was fertile: an apartment without bearing walls, with several columns. I came up with a central volume of complex configuration, divided by a partition into two rooms: a kitchen, which communicates freely with the front dining room, and a guest bathroom, facing the corridor. All the other rooms were grouped around this block. The result was an apartment where there are almost no right angles and parallel walls, which in itself makes an unusual impression. Say, moving along the corridor that goes around the central block from the side of the private zone, you notice that the corridor is expanding. The walls seem to part as they approach the main ceremonial rooms. Such perspective effects in combination with the differences of multi-level suspended ceilings create an interesting spatial intrigue. Customers wanted the interior to be strict and elegant, not overloaded with details. Therefore, we have abandoned polychrome, a variety of textures and forms. Smooth plastered walls, light maple floors, white ceilings - such is the finish of almost all rooms. They are contrasted with built-in furniture in the color of wenge, dark covers of windows and sliding partitions. In general, the solution of interiors is almost minimalist. Only the drawing of plafonds (asymmetrical planes, circles and triangles that overlap each other) is rather complicated and capricious. But this plastic decoration does not distract from the main thing. From space - dynamic, changeable, complexly organized and, in general, does not require decorations. "Alexey Shapovalov: "I am a supporter of rational planning decisions. In this case, the desire of customers who wanted to live in an unusual space was decisive. Many feel this need now. Apparently, fatigue from standard apartments, from right angles, from predictable space."
