Unlike many hotels, the Faena Hotel + Universe does not have a crowned past. It was built in 1902 by a food company as ... a granary. True, at the beginning of the century grain for Argentina was a gold mine, therefore, for the future hotel, they used the brick, precious for that time, brought from Great Britain. More than a hundred years later Philip Stark paired with Argentinean architect and fashion designer Alan Faena turned this brick silo into another designer miracle.
