Milan Furniture Fair continues to hold the status of the main in the industry. Not the last role in this primacy is played by the scale: the organizers from year to year cope with the task before refusing to fill the exhibition halls (and from their total area "it is possible to make a city"). The Biennale is also a successful approach, many times tested by the Milanese people. Kitchen and light make up the traditional couple. Bathrooms have already once again adjoin the kitchen theme as a good satellite. This spring, both kitchens and bathrooms gathered almost more visitors than in all previous years. Why? What caused the growing interest of the public to those topics that could become peripheral in line with the ongoing global crisis of consumption? Food and hygiene from the category of functionality finally moved to the area of ​​pleasure and beauty. In the area, the interest in which does not fade, even in tired from the problems of mankind. The adoption of water procedures and food intake have become the most important ritualism in the everyday cycle of affairs. “Tell me what your bathroom is, and I will tell you who you are.” This is not even a joke. As before, the inhabitants of the planet are divided into those who prefer to lie in the bath and those who take a shower (usually standing). These two psycho-types of people form two “sleeves” of the sanitary business. But since in any family there are adherents of both this and a different method of washing, it is impossible for an architect to plan several sets of equipment and several installation sites when planning bathrooms and sleeping rooms.
