The interior of the apartment created Galina Mikulikreminds gallery of modern art

Designer Galina Mikulik, crossing the threshold of this apartment, was very surprised. She was struck by the extremely strange layout, especially the walls, almost everywhere intersecting at a sharp angle. On the other hand, she was delighted with the abundance of windows facing all sides of the world. The premises were penetrated by sunshine, which filled the apartment with light and air. The space as a whole resembled an art gallery, and, making it out, Galina tried to reinforce this impression. This decision was justified by the fact that customers are very fond of art. Here, for example, works by artist Mirab Jmukhidze are hanging. With its expression and colors, the paintings noticeably enliven the interior. The authors' style of the artist was so much liked by the owners of the apartment that for one of the paintings they even had to go to Georgia.

The painting led to a whole collection of other art objects. They are in every room. Especially a lot of things here, the design of which recalls the 1930s. They all fit into the modern context. Their task is to enrich the image of the apartment, to make it more authentic. Herself Galina Mikulik also created one interesting artifact - it became a marble fireplace, located in the living room. In fact, it is not used for its intended purpose, but serves as a frame for the plasma panel. LOEWE. Designer считает, что очаг должен быть в каждом доме - как символ уюта и комфорта.

Choosing furniture, Galina applied her favorite trick - she built the “frame” of the decor from items of famous brands. Their expensive and sleek design sets the tone for the interior. All other furniture is made in Russia, according to individual sketches. Furnished apartment is expensive, but restrained - to match the situation. Eternal materials such as oak and marble were used. According to the author of the project, the main task was to ensure that the apartments always look stylish, no matter what kind of furniture they will be furnished.

Project author Galina Mikulik: “Apartment owners travel a lot and, as a rule, stay in designer hotels. They wanted their home to be the continuation of this life. That is why there are many pieces of art. The interior is enlivened by the paintings of Mirab Jmukhidze, painted in an expressive manner characteristic of Georgian artists. ”
