Our life today is woven from a variety of elements, inspired by various cultural traditions. These are perfume fragrances, interior items, clothing details, and culinary art ... Disputes and tensions over various approaches to art and life in general are becoming less and less. We gradually adjust to combinations and consonances, rather than contradictions and differences. Traditions are carefully preserved, transmitted and improved. For example, one of the two largest schools of ikebana - "Sogetsu" (the word is derived from two Japanese hieroglyphs, meaning "grass" and "moon") organically took root and successfully developed in Russia. This is eloquently shown by Russian teachers, who have attained a high level, are recognized by Japanese masters and are capable of transmitting to students the traditional principles and methods of this school. One of them is Olga Fomicheva. The works presented to your attention were created by her and her students. What we see is a peculiar symbiosis: Japanese flower arrangement and ceramics, made in the workshop of Victor Reshetnikov. As an artist, Victor was formed in line with the Estonian direction, which is distinguished by expressive simplicity and conciseness. “I learned a lot from nature, watching her creations,” he says. “Studied volumes enclosed in apple, pear, peach shapes; the color and texture of the peel of melon, tree bark, frog skin ... - all this taught me to each Forms to select the color and texture that best feed them. " After familiarizing himself with the works of the Sogetsu school masters, the ceramics artist was even more firmly established in his vocation: the interpretation of natural forms in minimalistic artistic images. Vases of muted flowers from this collection were the impetus for creating floristic compositions in the tradition of "Sogetsu". The appearance of ikebana in the house - the appearance in it of nature itself. Plants connect the internal enclosed space of the house with the external, open world, as if blurring the boundaries between them. Expressiveness, originality of natural elements is repeatedly enhanced by the special vision of the master, his ability to identify and emphasize them. Ikebana allows you to receive unexpected subtle pleasure from seemingly familiar things. Japanese arrangement is shrill. This is achieved by the fact that the generalized image of each component (vase, flower, leaves, branches, etc.) interacts with each other. Without this, collected in ikebana special emphasis on accent: color, textured, semantic. An accent is not necessarily a group of colors, it can be an interaction of lines, planes, that is, something we should pay attention to. Teniya turn into an ordinary bouquet, devoid of dynamics, expression and energy typical of ikebana. Art develops as fast as science. There is a constant movement, new trends are emerging, however, ikebana is constantly turning to the roots, which allows it to preserve, along with acute relevance, the pure purity of ancient art, inexhaustible and many-faced.
