New offer of the Italian company Sicis - large-format panels Vetrite®. Sicis is known worldwide as a manufacturer of mosaics — luxurious finishes made of very small (0.5–2 cm sides) particles called tesseras; they are made of glass smalt, stone, gold, platinum, bronze, steel. And here's an experiment with changing the format: the size of the panels Vetrite® достигает 120 х 280 см. The developer of the new coating was the team of designers and technologists Sicis. Fully Vetrite Collection® can be seen at the Cersaie 2016 exhibition in Italian Bologna on September 26-30.

Vetrite® panels are easy to handle. They are recommended to be used not only for walls, but also, for example, for doors and frames of mirrors.

Sicis was founded in 1987 in Ravenna, a city famous for the unique cycles of early Christian and Byzantine mosaics. The founder is Maurizio Leo Placuzzi, who is rightly called an erudite in the field of mosaic technology. An ingenious strategist and the main generator of ideas, he boldly expands the range: furniture, lamps, jewelry, textiles, and now wall panels were added to floor and wall coverings.

Along with the active ornamental patterns in the collection are presented and quite restrained. Gold inserts look fashionable in cold brutal interiors.

The specialists of the factory keep their finger on the pulse and do everything to make the mosaic fashionable. Here they are able to combine age-old traditions with current trends. Designers with an international reputation attract - Christian Lacroix, Carla Tolomeo, Patricia Urquiola collaborate with Sicis. The annual turnover of the company is about 60 million euros.

The panels are resistant to moisture, therefore, recommended for use in bathrooms. The panels are a sandwich of glass, plastic film and Sicis textiles. Formats vary, thickness is 6-12 mm.
