Pasquale Natuzzi, head and owner of a furniture brand
In the interior of the chalet, in accordance with the laws of the genre, wood dominates. Walls, floors, ceilings - everything is made of wood. On the first floor of the house there are rooms of the public zone and the rooms of the parents, on the second (two-story chalet) there are children's and guest rooms. In the children's used raw wood. Each room is solved in its color: varying shades of red, a lot of bright, bright, "apple" green. The living room is finished with hand-waxed boards. In the fireplace area, wood is combined with natural stone. There is a fireplace in the bedroom with parallel bars, even a bath is enclosed in a wooden shell. At first the living room was a favorite place in the house, but after the installation of the conceptualist sculptor Fabrizio Plessi appeared in the dining room, the attention of the children and then the parents switched to this room. The installation consists of trunks of trees suspended from the ceiling (with lighting), reflected in the surface of the water, which is filled with a large reservoir under them. The sides of this tank are lined with pebbles, which supports the theme of natural materials, pedalized in the interior.
With the situation decided immediately. The owners of the furniture brand without hesitation call the sofas produced by their factory the most comfortable in the world, and, as a result, they decided to put such sofas in the world at their home. Several samples were made specifically for this chalet, such as sofas in the fireplace area, designed by Centro Stile Natuzzi. Some owners bought the accessories before the house was built. A porcelain bear meeting guests at the entrance stood a long time in the attic of another family dwelling. But in the interior of the chalet, he fit perfectly. The same applies to the chair, which is a trunk with a seat hollowed into it. It seemed funny to the owner, but it didn’t fit into the interior of other family houses. In Pasquale Natuzzi, this house is associated with the concept of comfort: a winter evening, a log in a fireplace, a warm blanket, an interesting book crackle ... What could be better?
