Comfort, intelligence, self-restraint, discreet chic ... There is a special atmosphere in Inna Zavialova's interiors. The architect revealed to us some of the professional secrets.

Inna Zavyalova: “How to create an elegant interior in a log house, not associated with the interior of the hut? Solve the issue helped me travel to the south of France. As a result, we got a wonderful, in my opinion, sample of how a cottage near Moscow can look like in the French spirit. The interior of this house used bright with a grayish tint color of the walls. The wooden beamed ceilings are painted in boiled white, the floor is covered with sandstone, the windows are high and the French ones: you can open both doors and go out onto a spacious terrace. Furniture, light and fabrics have been rigorously selected according to three criteria: simplicity, elegance and chic. Try to choose accessories that will play the role of interior accents. Here, this role was played by massive antique candelabra. The atmosphere in the bedroom is another story. Here the role of textiles, various in texture, of different shades is very important: high headboard of the bed, covered with quilted cotton fabric, linen Roman curtain and curtains of cotton velvet on the windows, multi-layered bedding (satin jacquard bed linen, velvet blanket). Accessories I advise you to select at least carefully. For example, at the window office — tall lamps, resembling candles, with velvet lampshades, silver-plated candlesticks, a casket, photo frames, orchids in glass pots on the windows. All this fills the room with softness, warmth and comfort. If you do not want the interior to look overloaded when using a large number of fabrics and accessories in a small area, use a monochrome color scheme. And create the main game around textures and shades. The living room is the most significant room in the house. When designing it, it is important to understand whether a large family, how often guests are received, how they like to spend their free time. But no matter how you answer these questions, there is a rule for any living room without exceptions: you always need a group of sofas and armchairs, where it's nice to sit, chat, watch TV, listen to music. Here the aesthetic and practical side of the issue is important. It is necessary, for example, to correctly calculate the number of places, the distance between all pieces of furniture and equipment. (At the same time, it is equally important to emphasize the status of the room.) I believe that in office interiors everything is the same as in residential, and the style can be very different. So, we created the project of our office with a desire to get a second home for our team, a place where you want to create and where you don’t want to leave. In addition, for us, this is a reflection of our tastes and preferences: impeccable architecture, natural materials, unusual decor elements, and thoroughness of every detail — from accessories to joinery, which, by the way, we have designed ourselves, in the workshop of our bureau.
