Fabrics, wallpapers, carpets with geometric patterns are part of the overall interior trend. The modern interior has fallen in love with geometry not simply because it is characteristic of art deco (and now in our country it is a style of styles) — although so too. Not just because fashionable ornaments evoke pleasant associations, recalling the jewelry from Cartier, the Moorish-style grid as a “frame” from the journey, or the picture of Malevich. Geometry as ordering, geometry as philosophy — this is what is close to the modern interior — and, accordingly, textiles and wallpaper. That is why designers draw inspiration from the masterpieces of Russian avant-garde. The modern intellectual is ready to meet every day with these symbols and deep meanings at home, and he is not at all embarrassed that the “picture” is woven on the carpet or printed on the wallpaper.
