These hotels are considered to be the most frightening in the world: their visitors often face inexplicable phenomena and even meet ghosts.
Passing the gallery1. Stanley, Colorado, USA
Located in the depths of Rocky Mountain National Park, this Colorado hotel was opened early in the last century by the inventor Freelan Oscar Stanley. They say that the founder together with his wife is sometimes still seen in the lobby.
In addition to the ghosts, the hotel is filled with other paranormal phenomena: strange sounds of children's laughter, distributed on the fourth floor, and playing the piano, which comes from the former music room of the deceased owner.
What is remarkable: it was this place, lost in the woods, that inspired Stephen King to create his famous novel, The Shining.
