Furniture maker Leopoldo Country founded his own business in 1978. Now his son, Andrea, is in charge of the factory. For a long time, the brand has specialized in traditional, classic furniture. These are replicas of antiques from museum and private collections. And in the late 1990s, more modern collections unexpectedly appeared, for example, Countryclub, the first furniture line created for LANDO famous Paola Navone. The designer is known for her love of ethnics, and her second collection with LANDO, Gingerbread, was devoted to the culture of the Caribbean islands: bright colors, prints with large patterns and natural materials. Frames of solid oak covered with the finest white parchment, thanks to this it seems that the chairs and sofas are made of cardboard, as if they were intended for a dollhouse. In the collection of Nuova Falegnameria, items from which, among other things LANDO can be ordered in the Moscow salon House of Goldon the contrary, the theme of monochrome is played up: furniture, lamps and accessories for living rooms and bedrooms are designed in milky-white and graphite colors.
