Norwegian toilet

On one of the tourist routes in Norway built a building that reflects the surrounding landscape. This is a roadside toilet with a mirrored wall. Authors - Oslo studio Morfeus Arkitekter.

A new recreation area is located next to the road separating the steep mountains from the sea. There is parking and service functions, a concrete bench, picnic areas, paths and a pedestrian bridge connecting the area with the surrounding lighthouses.

The picturesque Andøya trail goes in the north of the country, along a part of the coast, past the spurs of the Scandinavian mountains and the lands of the Sami people. The rocks form the natural altar on which the sacrifices to the gods were made. It is currently used for mass and worship services that attract people from many places. The toilet is one of 18 architectural sites built by the Norwegian National Tourist Roads.
