Le Baux-de-Provence is included in the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. VILLA BAULIEU






The estate Beaulieu is famous for its truffles, almonds, but above all - wines. The 11-room luxury hotel is located close to Aix-en-Provence, in the small picturesque town of Rogn, 30 minutes from Marseille. This estate of the Counts of Provence, built in 1576. After restoring an ancient winery, the owners supply their red and white wines to the best restaurants in France. The villa is surrounded by a park of the XVIII century (22 hectares) and vineyards (300 hectares). At 20 km from the hotel there are four golf courses with 18 holes. Beranger Genan, the daughter of the owner of the villa, says that they moved to the villa from Bordeaux. In 2010, the winery was restored and now they supply their red and white wines to the best restaurants in Provence and France.

Jacques Chibois, the owner of the hotel La Bastide Saint-Antoine near Grasse and the Michelin-starred restaurant of the same name, is one of the most famous chefs in the south of France. In 1864, this 17th century manor was acquired by the English aristocratic John Taylor. The estate was replaced by several owners, but it always remained a favorite vacation spot for many celebrities, members of the Kennedy family often stayed here. In 1948, the daughter of John Taylor sold the possession of Robert Labe, who loved to organize parties with fashion shows and show business stars, including the Rolling Stones, they spent almost the entire 1975 in this wonderful country house. And finally, in 1996, the famous French chef Jacques Chibois, winner of many honorary awards, including two Michelin stars, and his wife, Odette, opened a charming hotel surrounded by three hectares of magnificent Tuscan style park and an olive grove with centuries-old trees. In a historic green building - 16 rooms: 11 in the Provencal style, and 5 reflect the modern design. The hotel’s undoubted pride is a gastronomic restaurant with excellent cuisine and fine French wines from its own wine cellar.
