SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art). The Norwegian bureau Snøhetta has designed a ten-story extension to the building of the Museum of Modern Art (project of Mario Botta 1995). Concrete volume with unusual facades, composed of more than 700 panels of various shapes, stands out against the background of urban development.

Extension to the monastery complex in Santo Tirso, Portugal. Architects Alvaro Siza Vieira and Eduard South de Moura.

MIAS and MIEP. In the Portuguese town of Santo Tirso two Pritzker laureates collaborated. Alvaro Siza and Eduard South de Moura reconstructed the MIAS museum and designed the building of the National Museum of Sculpture (MIEP). The new building is an extension to the monastery complex, founded in the VIII century. The snow-white volume is connected with the historical monument by a barely noticeable transition.

Tate Modern Switch House. Швейцарский архитектурный дуэт Herzog & de Meuron Architekten представил новое здание галереи Тейт Модерн в Лондоне (Tate Modern Switch House). Десятиэтажное пирамидальное строение уже назвали важнейшей культурной точкой страны со времен Британской библиотеки. Здание снаружи облицовано светлым решетчатым кирпичом, внутри имеет сложную систему переходов, а также три новых галерейных уровня. На крыше размещается большая площадка с панорамным видом.

International Museum of the Baroque. В городе Пуэбла открыт Музей барокко, построенный по проекту знаменитого японского архитектора Тойо Ито (Toyo Ito & Associates). Интересна концепция музея, в котором выставлены и живопись, и скульптура, и мода. Есть экспозиции, посвященные театру, литературе, музыке и еде. Искусство барокко всегда причудливо, эксцентрично, подвижно и любит игру стихий. Тойо Ито выразил эти категории в современных архитектурных формах: фасад собран из белоснежных бетонных лепестков, а все здание музея окружено искусственным прудом.

City of Wine. The center of wine civilization in Bordeaux was opened on April 31, 2016 by French President Francois Hollande. The Asian Art Study Center и Ringling Museum of Art. A ringing center has appeared at the State Museum of Art in Florida, dedicated to Asian art. The three-storey extension was designed by Boston architect Rodolfo Machado (Machado Silvetti), thus expanding the building of the 1920s. The facades are lined with beautiful dark green glazed tiles, produced specifically for this object.

Museum of rock music Ragnarock in the Danish city of Roskilde, architects MVRDV (Netherlands) and COBE (Denmark).

Ragnarock museum. The architects of the studios MVRDV (Netherlands) and COBE (Denmark) completed the building of the Ragnarock rock music museum in the Danish city of Roskilde, the birthplace of the country's largest rock festival. One of the buildings of the former cement plant will be converted into a museum. The four-story volume is supplemented by the console carried forward.

National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec. The famous Quebec Museum - the addition of space. The pavilion of Pierre Lassonde (named after the chairman of the board of directors of the institution), which houses the exhibition galleries, was attached. The building is designed to link the busy road, the park and the museum itself. The authors of the project are the OMA team and architect Shohei Shigematsu.
