The winners of the SaloneSatellite 2017 competition were announced in Milan. The third place was taken by the participant from Russia, Tatiana Repina.

In the first place is the work of the designers of the Taiwanese studio Pistacchi design - Comma Stool / Chair - a series of seats that resemble modern sculptures. On the second - the Bench X Bench of the Chinese bureau Edmond Wong studio, a kind of hybrid of the chair and home simulator. The jury found it a very useful solution for small apartments. The third place was given to Tatyana Repina’s Yoo furniture collection - a table, a container chair and wall panels made from needles of coniferous trees and decomposable bioplastic. The jury members particularly liked the polyester material, its natural color and texture, allowing it to create an image of wood in the house. It is able to absorb sounds, repel harmful insects and bacteria. Recall that in October last year, Tatiana with her collection won the first place at the Moscow session of Salone Sattelite, which gave her the opportunity to show their work in Milan.

On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, SaloneSatellite recalled that it had always been a start-up platform for future stars. Many well-known international designers are former participants of SaloneSatellite, among them Oki Sato, Daniel Ribacken, Nika Zupants, Patrick Juan, Sebastian Herkner, Alessandra Baldereschi, Christina Celestino, Paolo Ulian. Some of the exhibits were made by the designers themselves, others were made by famous companies. All items are included in the SaloneSatellite collection 20 Years Collection, it is shown at Fiera Milano until April 9, 2017.
