The bathroom is integrated into the living space. Monica Graffeo and Rexa Design presented their interpretation of the current trend at iSaloni 2016. Their collection is called Hammam. She really helps to create an atmosphere of hammam, as well as Japanese onsen - traditional terms, the designer spent a lot of time studying. In the interior, soft, calm forms, warm light colors of earth and sand set the tone. The room is soothing and invigorating at the same time - this, according to the author, should be a bathroom. But the main thing is a constructive solution. The creators proposed a new structural element, a dividing partition. On one side of it is a wardrobe related to the bedroom, on the other is a system for installing plumbing and laying communications. Thus, the “wet zone” organically fits into the private half of the house. I must say that Hammam is not the first development of Monica, inspired by Eastern philosophy of body care, and she realizes her ideas in the most modern composites and polymers.
The shell D41 H48 of the Hammam collection is made of Korakril material, the base is made of ceramic, which looks like raw clay. The washbasin of the R1 also has textured ceramics (hue is called vinaccia) Моника Граффео, которой сегодня 43 года, в свое время окончила Итальянскую школу дизайна в Падуе. В ней же она впоследствии преподавала в течение почти 10 лет. Карьеру дизайнера начинала в команде производителя кухонь Valcucine под началом Габриэле Чентаццо. Взявшись за самостоятельное творчество, успешна была в создании стульев — дважды, в 2003 и 2004 годах удостаивалась премии Young&Design за модели, созданные для брендов Kristalia и Arflex. Но, по-настоящему, Моника нашла себя, включившись в дизайн обстановки для ванных — три года назад стартовало ее сотрудничество с компанией Rexa Design, в результате которого появились на свет интереснейшие коллекции: Moode, Esperanto, Fonte. И вот теперь Hammam.
