Project mary mycenae: apartment in moscow

“According to the project of the developer, an apartment of 64 sq. M. m. - one. However, the area allowed us to separate the living room and bedroom areas.

The apartment was initially acquired by my customers, as an additional one - for guests or for privacy, that is, I did not have specific tasks when planning the space. And yet it was necessary to use the available space wisely; a bath in the center of the living room is clearly not the case, since the clients themselves are very rational people. There was no talk about a serious budget either.

Kitchen. Any Home dining table, Love seat chairs, Amsterdam side table from Cazarina Interiors, Visual Comfort chandelier, MH Living decor items. The carpet organizes the space and makes the kitchen-dining area a living space. In the kitchen, we organized a full-fledged working area and a spacious dining room with a large dining table.

The second room we divided into 2 parts, thus obtaining a living area of 22 square meters. m. and a bedroom area of 12 square meters. The zones are separated by a partition with an opening, which we decided not to glaze in order to ensure a greater flow of air. It was supposed to supplement the doorway with a curtain, but this was not required - the bedroom and so it turned out to be cozy. Also in the apartment we provided a spacious hall with a spacious closet and a large bathroom. The loggia serves as a cabinet.

Since I left Russia for a while, the project, unfortunately, took place without my participation. Returning to Moscow, I proceeded to decorating an already finished interior, since it was obvious that much needed to be completed.

Bedroom. The wall behind the bed is decorated with textiles, so the room seems easier, as if there is a window behind the headboard too. All joinery was made in Moscow according to the designer’s project.

Customers wanted an interior with elements of classic styles and they chose rather traditional furniture. My task was to breathe freshness into the traditional interior - so cool blue shades, modern pieces of furniture and art appeared here. As it seems to me, the interior turned out to be quite American - it combines the traditional and the current.

Above the console is the work of Nikolai Morgunov from the ARTbrut gallery. VH MH Living. Hall. York Wallpapers The Design01 Megaton Console was unexpectedly found at Wood Works. The console fully justifies its name - it is really incredibly heavy, because it is made of sheets of copper 2 cm thick. Air and daylight enter the bedroom through openings in the wall. Bedroom.
