The design of the store is a hybrid of Art Deco and Modernism architecture of the 60s, the interior is complemented by furniture, recently popular among the authors: Juaquín Tenreire, Jorge Zalzupina and Sergio Rodriguez. The masterpieces of Brazilian modernists, precious in the literal sense of the word (auction prices exceed five-digit figures) are transported from Milan. “My only concern is that they have now left my home, but we are working with the Tenreiro family to make exact copies,” Miuccia Prada told a source at businessoffashion.com.

Instead of a green shade, the walls are decorated with cement panels with a three-dimensional floral pattern. The classic checkerboard floors, like in the first Prada boutique in Milan, in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, contrast with the rich, dark shades of jacaranda and cabreuva, exotic species of South American forest. The setting is designed to convey a special sensuality and, just like the new exposition of the Friedman Benda Gallery on Design Miami, refer to the aesthetics of French cinema of the 60s, Bunuel's film “Day Beauty”.
