All three like to come up with unusual scenarios and experiment. All three believe that the architect must be in the right place at the right time in order to materialize the changes taking place in the world. All three love color.

The total area of this Parisian apartment is 150 square meters. meters The location is beautiful: the prestigious sixteenth arrondissement, not far from the Champs Elysées. The house itself is magnificent: an ancient building of the nineteenth century, very characteristic of Paris architecture. The apartment has a living room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, in which the built-in furniture is made by special order.

“This is a home for a family with three children. We worked on the project for three months, and the work itself went on for about five months, ”says Olivia Charpentier. - Properly chosen tones help to give elements of interior value. Color helps to create contrasts, play with proportions, create an atmosphere of happiness, finally. The main thing is to set up an associative array correctly and understand exactly what colors mean for a client. ”

What principle were the architects guided by when creating exquisitely furnished rooms? “The first selection criterion is proportions and volumes. “A thing may be ideally suited in color or function, but not be beaten out of the composition, which cannot be allowed in any way,” answers Olivia. - Then we make sure that the subjects enter into a dialogue not only within the same space, it is important that some rhymes unite the subjects in different parts of the house.

For example, in the dining room is a carpet with a spiral band. He is met by striped pillows in the hallway and pillows in the living room. Or, for example, lamps in the living room, dining room, “nursery” and in the corridor are united by the material - brass sounds impressively in all, and the lampshades are completely different. In general, the subjects must tell the "story", as they say now. "

GCG Architectes are satisfied with the result of their many months of work. The apartment has a sense of cultural classics, but at the same time, thanks to the current palettes, color walls and interesting textiles, set design looks fashionable and dynamic.
