UM Project furniture brand and wallpaper manufacturer Flavor Paper decided not to hide the wiring from their eyes, but brought it right over the wall. The concept was shown at the NYCxDesign design festival in New York, which runs from May 3 to 24.

The surface of the Conduct wallpaper is lined with "wires" that are applied using electrically conductive paint. Electrical devices are connected directly, without requiring the installation of sockets and switches. To turn on or turn off the device, it is enough to put a finger on the copper "button" at the end of the wire, closing the electrical circuit. Another "switch" is a perforated copper tube - you should remove it from the stand to stop the supply of electricity. At their booth at NYCxDesign, the developers installed a lamp, a fan, a speaker, an illuminated shelf, and a mirror.
The authors address their idea, first of all, to public institutions and the entertainment sector. Conduct they conceived as a modular system that can be manufactured in different colors and suitable for different devices.
