Five famous architects at our request embodied their ideas about what should be the dining room. Each of these projects is unique in its own way, but what unites them is a high level of design, convenience and functionality. The dining room is the center of the house, where people communicate with each other, where they receive guests, and therefore a ceremonial, solemn character must be inherent to it, the architect believes Vadim Grekov.Executive dining room - Representative and personal (family, if you like) - these are the two functions of the dining room, on which we tried to focus in our project. And if we consider the whole house as a special microcosm, a mini-universe that lives by its own laws, then the dining room united this inner world and the outer side of the life of the inhabitants of the house and created a harmonious balance of all its parts. It seems to me that the attitude of the author of the interior and the host to the dining room expresses the skill level of one and the social position of the other. It is not surprising that the higher the status of the house, the more attention the architect places on the canteen. In this project, the dining room is the most representative part of the house. I would say it is a kind of indicator of the significance of both the people gathered in it and the level of communication.Dining room decorated with kitchenThe ancient Roman aqueduct motif, which dominates the interior of the dining room project, was born out of the need to decorate already existing architectural structures.Mikhail Filippov: “A powerful, majestic arcade improvising the ancient Roman aqueduct was created on the basis of supporting columns along the central axis. The rather low ceiling was visually enhanced with arches, the smooth lines of which perfectly harmonize with the semicircles of arches. entrance to the dining room, made a mirror. The reflection creates the effect of an endless series of arches. "Family valuesThis project was created by architects Dilara Fathelislamova and Murat Kuliev for a large family, in which breakfast, lunch or dinner at the same table are considered by everyone as a real ritual. - The peculiarity of this dining room is that it is located on the same axis with two other rooms, and each of them must be read in its own way. So the dining room has its own character: somewhat strict and stylistically verified. The layout and the interior, if you can say so, emphasize family values: a table in the center of the room and a fireplace, which is associated with the home.NeogothicThe main idea of the project Vitalia Dorokhova became stylized as Gothic with the inherent style of grace, wealth and monumentality. “The creation of a giant hypertrophied canteen space should emphasize the nobility and power of the inhabitants of the house,” says the author of the neo-Gothic dining room project. - The graceful and majestic atmosphere of the dining room undoubtedly makes a tremendous impression on people who are invited to this house for lunch or dinner. The color scheme was chosen in accordance with the old canons of Romanesque and Gothic architecture.Dining room in the manorWhat should be a dining room in a country estate, says the architect Gulya Akhmetshina. - The wooden house in which this cozy, as it seems to us, dining room is designed, has a complex architectural and planning solution. For a large dining group, designed for a family of 7 people, it was necessary to find their own premises in the house. The bay window lit by daylight was an ideal place for dining. The neighborhood with a winter garden and a terrace emphasized its manor character. Dining groups for four persons we duplicated in the winter garden, and for eight persons - on the terrace.
