Dilmos: raw land in the gallery of milan

Milan's Dilmos gallery on the Via Solferino is one of the venues to which both the pro and design lovers are trying to catch anyhow. No matter how the pulse of the industry beats, the owners and the art director of the Dilmos gallery will always show non-trivial, inspirational items made with imagination and passion.

Gallery was founded in 1980. For 36 years, who only here did not show! Andrea Branzi and Okie Sato (Nendo), Ettore Sottsass and Martin Baas. The exhibition is called Raw nature "Raw Nature" - just one of the variants of the fashion trend WILD - "Wildlife". The background soundtrack sounds in the exposition with noises and cries of the virgin forest, in the halls of the gallery it smells like damp earth. All for those who have never known or completely forgotten what jungle, rain forests or deaf taiga are. Smells and sounds create the atmosphere of the project, and its content is determined, of course, by things.

Shelves, chairs, armchairs, shelves are the objects that will determine the life of the “new barbarians”, people who cannot endure an informational squall and total transparency, who want to leave civilization, live slowly and secretly. In almost all subjects, something came up very unexpectedly. Among the obvious successes is the collection of Rawdentro Daniele Papouli - shelving and chairs from glossy waste paper. The furniture is rolled up from dozens of old magazines, looks like a pasty painting from a distance, near the texture resembles rolls of Japanese cuisine. Disposal of paper publications is another step towards the sustainable development of the planet. Another spectacular offer is the Burnt Paper collection by Roberto Mora. The fact that look finish cabinets, like leather, are called "burned paper", and made of metal. The viewer is a little lost, but the collection remembers for a long time.

Gallery S.Bensimon.
