Italian architect Michele de Lucchi (Michele de Lucchi, b. November 8, 1951) at 24 became a professor at the University of Florence. Together with Ettore Sottsass, they launched the Icarus line. In 1980, Sottsass formed the Memphis Group. Michele de Lucchi participated in the first exhibition of the avant-garde association.
