A literal translation from the French word "still life" does not sound too life-affirming - "dead nature", but the paradox is that its main task is to convey the mood of vitality and materiality. It is not necessary to paint or collect works of eminent masters in order to feel the connection to art. Sometimes it's enough just to see beauty in random objects left on the table and breathe life into them ... Creative people, like little children, are endowed with the gift of perceiving the "extra-volume" of the image. It would seem that everything is extremely clear in the world of things. The light falls on the twisted foot of the candlestick and is reflected by tiny highlights on all metal surfaces. The game of shadows forms the depth of space. No secrets ...
