On the redevelopment and global transformation of the interior area of 64 square meters. a meter of time was allocated very little. First of all, the decorator dismantled the old finish. Under the false ceilings there were communications, which it was decided to leave and paint in a deep malachite color.

“There was a very scary interior with plastic panels and orange wallpaper pasted on the ceiling,” says the decorator, “but the space itself with high ceilings and huge windows inspired me, of course.”

Under the drywall hid a beautiful old brick of different times. Two types of bricks - signs of past life - were preserved and painted as they were, without restoration.

The space is divided into three zones - open space with a large wooden table in the center, a recreation room, it’s the manager’s office, and technical rooms — a kitchen and a dressing room.

In the process, it turned out that the customer is a long-time fan of Russian realistic art. “We immediately took advantage of the proximity of the museum (the loft is adjacent to the museum of the Institute of Russian Realistic Art), together we chose several famous paintings and ordered copies of them,” says Yulia. A copy of the picture “The Land Listens” by Vladimir Nesterov is now hanging in his office. Also on the walls of the office appeared a copy of a small work by Alexander Deineka. The rest of the art in the interior of contemporary artists. In the large room hangs "Vodokachka" from the series "Shishaki" by Andrei Sarabyanov, a picture of the ships of Cyril Vasilenko.

All furniture was chosen from the presence mainly of Russian manufacturers, some items were made to order in the company “D Tree” according to the sketches of the decorator. For example, tabletops for all desktops, a coffee table and a console with a basalt tabletop for TV.

Separately for this loft, we looked for vintage lamps, chose American enameled ceiling lamps of the 1960s, which were repainted in a different color, and the famous Soviet “Saturn” for a large room. Vintage furniture and accessories are always involved in the Yulin projects, she not only loves them very much, but also knows how to fit into the interior so harmoniously that it seems they have always been there.
