Arne Jacobsen designed Egg, Swan and Drop - these are Mid-century modern masterpieces for the lobby of the Copenhagen SAS Hotel. SAS Royal Hotel was created in 1956-1960. (now it is called The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel). In fact, it was the first designer hotel in the world, because everything was copyrighted here - from architecture to door handles, faucets and ashtrays, which immediately appeared among the onboard souvenirs of SAS (it originally owned the hotel). In the lobby of the hotel, where the classic Egg, Swan and Drop stood, it was possible to check in for the flight: the shuttle delivered guests to the airport in 20 minutes.

Famous objects look like sculptures, because it was exactly how the sculptures were created: Jacobsen sculpted numerous clay prototypes, and only after the ideal form was found did the Fritz Hansen factory recreate them from fiberglass reinforced plastic. Room 606 of the hotel is left in the same form as Arne Jacobsen conceived it - with wooden panels on the walls, built-in furniture and Egg and Swan armchairs in bright blue upholstery. "Museum Room" can be booked.
