The historic tram of 1928 became the object of the collaboration of designer Christina Celestino with the famous textile factory Rubelli. Christina Celestino fantasized about street transport and the Corallo cinema in Milan. Both sources of inspiration became themes for a new collection of fabrics Rubelli, which was presented in such an unusual way at Milan Design Week 2018.

The Corallo streetcar is imbued with Passeism and nostalgia: Christina refers to historical styles and forms, explores the theme of travel, dreams, and surrealistic vision. The interior of the car represents the glamorous taste of the post-war decades.
