Maria Glinskaya decorated a country house in the Moscow region in the spirit of a European villa that is at least a hundred years old.

The very atmosphere of this old-fashioned place - a large plot with trees and a three-story house - was conducive to creating an interior “with history”. The decorator Maria Glinskaya decided to combine the aesthetics of an old Moscow dacha with the style of Provence. This is the foundation where the styles of several epochs are woven into One of the main conditions - modern things should have looked like old or, at least, old ones that served the family for many years. Another is intentional “wrongness.” For example, one of the walls is left unplastered and painted directly on the brick, the parquet floor is with a non-uniform pattern, the pieces of furniture are different, not from one set, as if random. But this is exactly what gives the planned interior history a special persuasiveness, and living space - comfort, a sense of silence and unhurried flow of time.
