Architect Elena Dobrovolskaya created in this bedroom a laconic and at the same time sensual interior in the spirit of ar-deco. What means? Let's figure it out

The strict lines of art deco and monochrome palette, slightly animated by a hint of lingonberry, is the recipe for this laconic interior. So that he didn’t look quite ascetic, the architect resorted to using textile decor: the bedside tables were “dressed” from head to toe in velvet, and their drawers were pickled, like the silk headboard.

The sculpted decor of the ceiling is the most expressive detail of the decoration of this bedroom. Interlacings of geometrical figures are characteristic for ar-deco, but besides this they vaguely resemble ornaments from other historical eras, such as the Renaissance. Such a free interpretation of Art Deco, as well as graphics in the nude style and nightstands of a rich shade — these are the touches that give this room a special, artistic charm.
