The owner of Angelina is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the furniture business. We met him in a country house near Moscow, which Belyavsky bought when his company began its expansion into the regions

In a country house, or rather in the apartment, which is located in the village of townhouses, Belyavsky happens during his visits to Moscow. This hotel option, I clarify. "No, from a business point of view, the hotel is more convenient. They will come, they will clean, they will have breakfast, and here they have to organize their rest all the time," half the joke, half seriously the entrepreneur answers.

Belyavsky says that when business overstepped the borders of St. Petersburg, he was thinking about buying an apartment in Moscow, but familiar bankers suggested considering the option of a townhouse. It was after the crisis of 1998, the village went to the bank for debts, so the entrepreneur was able to choose an apartment on the outskirts, with a view of the forest, and not at the windows of neighbors. And I appreciated the advantages of living in the country later, when I moved into an apartment.

“There is a forest near the house, the air is clean, close to the city, but at the same time you live in a cottage, not in a high-rise building. It’s important for me, I don’t like high-rise buildings,” he explains. "So after all traffic jams ..." - I say. “Come on, stop. There are always traffic jams in Moscow, so it’s still not possible to save time,” Belyavsky says.

According to the owner of "Angelina", the main plus of country living is the ability to change the environment. “When I go out of town, I immediately feel lighter,” he explains. By itself, the question arises about the interior, about the environment. The interior of the apartment Belyavsky was made in the style of a calm classic, designed in neutral colors. “I support a similar style in all of my apartments, he calms me down,” says the hero of our rubric. And then he admits that, probably, if he was a little younger, he could have chosen a more dynamic interior. “It used to seem that life could still accelerate, what should be done even more, but now I understand that it is possible not to run so fast, but at the same time not to touch sharp corners,” says Belyavsky.

The realization that it is already possible to slow down the pace came to the owner of “Angelina” not so long ago. And not only in business. Belyavsky, for example, talks about his passion for sports cars. "When I turned 42, I decided to make my childhood dream come true and buy FERRARI. At 50, it will not be interesting to drive at all ... I bought a FERRARI 360 Modena, I traveled. I realized that it was not easy. The car is very noisy, tough, it requires constant attention. The seat does not recline back, so there’s no rest at all. I went to France once, I was terribly tired. Now it’s up for sale, ”says the hero of our column.

In business, too, at one time there was a period of drive, active development, and now there has come a phase of calm, steady growth. Belyavsky has been engaged in furniture since 1993. At first, Angelina became the leading partner of the largest Italian furniture concern. TOMASELLA, then began to sell furniture more expensive brands. “They grew up with customers,” says Alexey Dmitrievich. "Angelina" offers furniture of famous Italian brands of mainly classical style. I ask how the assortment of Angelina salons coincides with the personal taste of the owner of the company. “I am sometimes told that if I were selling furniture that I like, no one would buy it,” Belyavsky jokes. “We sell modern furniture, but I don’t have a hard, cold style to me. I like calm, neutral classics” .
