The authors of the project did not directly appeal to any of the stylistic trends, although in this apartment one can discern some features of the classic high society salon. Here are going to the elect - the closest friends at home - not so much "for the feast", but "for the feast of the spirit" Interestingly, the image of the noble estate was embodied in the apartment, the birthplace of which is the new building. The layout of the building, built in an arc, is not news for modern architecture, as it is not news and the connection of two apartments into one, however, this led to the appearance of a curvilinear elongated space with an entrance from one side, which was not easy to manage. A long corridor penetrating the entire apartment, visually expanded with mirrored and stained glass doors and topped with a round hall, resembles a Moscow urban estate — a lengthy room with a hall at the back of the house. The zoning principle here is simple and rational. At the beginning of a long corridor - a public area, at the end - private: bedrooms and bathrooms are collected, like petals, around a spacious hall. The whole apartment, which is notable for its impressive size, is designed in the same style and in the same color range. The decoration was not made dependent on zoning: it would violate the impression of restrained calm, to which the authors of the project were so eager. The basis of the color scale is “baked milk” (draperies, furniture upholstery, carpet) and dark wood, and the terracotta color of the walls in the living room became the coloristic climax. The unusual noble tone creates a festive and romantic mood, typical, however, the entire apartment. Carpet, which, at the request of customers, everywhere, except for the hallway and the kitchen, gently carpets the floor, creates comfort and peace. The creators of the interior are especially proud of the author's built-in furniture and doors: their decor is strict and solemn. A discreet gilding and a finely beaten arched motif bring a formal note to this intimate interior. The doors, located next to each other and solved in a single key, perform completely different functions. Some of them, stained glass windows, welcomingly and hospitably open the living room and office in front of the visitor. Others, which are very similar in shape, but mirror-like, delicately close the kitchen and other service spaces adjacent to the guest area from their eyes. In this house, it seems, even the doors acquired good manners. Furniture also demonstrates sophisticated secularism: it is pompous, aristocratic and majestic and restrained.Tatyana Boronina: "Few in our time have a clear idea of what the real Moscow intelligentsia is and what kind of lifestyle is associated with this concept. The owners of the apartment belong to this type. To attract guests to this house, special technical and stylistic delights are not required, since they are brought here by the hospitality and warmth of the owners. The classic interior we built is not designed to amaze with luxury and brilliance. We just created a calm and harmonious environment for intellectual leisure. "
