The fairway bowling club is located on the third floor of the Naval Station building (St. Petersburg, Ploshchad Morskoy Slava, 1), in a former restaurant. The last five years, due to the cessation of passenger traffic by the Baltic Shipping Company, huge areas were practically not used, but in October last year, the ferry line St. Petersburg-Stockholm opened. Now the renovation of hotel floors is over, and the bowling club has become the main resting place for visitors. The key to understanding the concept of the interior can be considered a panoramic view from the window to the Gulf of Finland. The authors found it necessary to preserve the general architectural context of the reconstructed premises - open reinforced concrete structures, suspended ceiling. The hall with paths is designed intentionally simple; attention is attracted by the bowling equipment itself - the lifting screen, monitors, and light paths. Lighting plays a significant role in the project. There are two modes - white and blue with UV lamps that illuminate the balls and pins. We can say that the new bowling club has completed its part of the work on the revival of the Naval Station as a public building.
