Heat, air, water - a harmonious combination of these concepts in the life of every person - this is the main idea of ​​the past ISH exhibition in Frankfurt am Main What could be easier bath or tap? What new can you think of? Such thoughts arose before visiting the exhibition. But the design world is crazy! There are no baths, toilets, sinks, taps. There is a genius of human creativity and fantasy. If smart home, then smart in everything. Technology plus elegance, cleanliness of lines, strict economy and simplicity - this is the modern measure of luxury. The Russian man is still not clear what a water meter is, that the drain tank has two flush modes - economical or not so good, that you cannot wash dishes under running water and, without closing it, go to watch TV or talk on the phone. Barbarism! This is what a simple burgher will say, and not a simple one either. For them (they don’t want to separate us), the built-in photocell in the faucet, which reacts to the held hands, is no longer a fashion sign, but a vital necessity. This is not stinginess or greed or mentality problems, it’s just taking care of your children, grandchildren, and future generations. Have you been drinking tap water for a long time? Humanity lives surrounded by water, but, unfortunately, it does not get drunk. Plastic, the best faience, metal, acrylic, glass, stone, marble ... All these materials are perfected today, although there is no limit to perfection. Glass without scratches, metal without fingerprints, water flows through the plastic, leaving no wet marks, coatings are protected from bacteria! Forget about cleaning products and about your "not economic", be free and enjoy. Thoughts of one of the visitors out loud: "What will I do with such a sink? I just need a large tub, where I can wholeheartedly splash around and enjoy the morning toilet." Reasonable. But the world of design exists contrary to reason. Design "gods" participate in the creation of such a prose of life as the "chamber pot". What, the right, cynicism. Suppose we are sitting on sofas or chairs from N, but doing wee-wee in the toilet created by this genius ... Wow! There's something about it. Beauty!The material is published in the author's edition.
