The beer restaurant "League of Popes", which recently opened in the same building as the "Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" (see the article "Girls like", SALON-interior N1 (79) 2004), promises to be one of the best places where sports matches are broadcast. Watching the competition will be most convenient in the amphitheater, since in front of the "stands" hangs a huge plasma screen. Although the interior of the League is different from the generally accepted "wooden" style of pubs, the word "dad" should be perceived as a pub. There is, of course, a lot of wood here, but the design of the space with Celtic stucco moldings, paintings on the theme "Alexander Rodchenko's Dishes of 1922", bronze cast hatches with the names of football clubs, mosaic ornaments, sandstone vases makes some rethink the standard stereotypes of how look like a pub.
