Pushkin used to be in this house, in the 18th century Tatishchev owned it, Kamporezi rebuilt it on the recommendation of Quarenghi ... And the picture depicting this mansion is in the Russian Museum

Architect Grigory Mudrov For the past few years, he has been engaged in the restoration of a large urban estate of the 18th-19th centuries located in the center of Moscow. In Moscow alone, they restored about 40 monuments of cultural heritage. Among them are the Petrovsky Travel Palace, GUM, Bakhmetyevsky bus garage, built by Melnikov ...

At the stage of completion of the estate's interior, an architect was invited to cooperate. Evgeniy Polyantsev.

Grigory Mudrov: This mansion is present in the Albums of Particular Structures by Matvey Kazakov. After the archival research, it was possible to find out that Pushkin was in this house, the general governor of Moscow Tatishchev lived, then Peter Panin, Lobanov-Rostovsky. According to some sources, Kamporezi was engaged in the redevelopment of the mansion ... There were six ceremonial halls in the premises of the second floor of the house; hosted guests. Much restored literally millimeter. It is difficult to say how much time was spent searching for the original color of the walls. The drawing of the parquet was found in the picture of the artist Nikolay Podliknikov (1832; at present, the canvas is in the Russian Museum). In England, they found a factory that produces Metlakh tile using the technology of the 19th century. Stucco and rosettes recovered from fragmentary preserved originals.

Evgeniy Polyantsev: We were aware of the difficulty of the task before us. Furniture, decor elements, fabrics, and carpets should meet modern requirements (as this is a representative office), and at the same time blend in harmoniously with the authentic interiors of the 18th-19th centuries. We made a significant part of the furniture according to our sketches - from a large fireplace in the dance hall to the decoration of the doors of bookcases. Taking into account the color and light in some rooms, we used the root (butt) part of an ash tree in the halls of furniture, in others - the Canadian maple (its texture is very similar to Karelian birch). In the pilasters hall, it was decided to paint the furniture in delicate pastel colors in order to combine it with soft pink color pilasters made of artificial marble. The drawing of carpets (with the tapestry texture) repeats the prototypes of the drawings of the first half of the XIX century. Fabrics and design of curtains in each room - the final touch in recreating the atmosphere of an old Moscow manor.
