In Europe, stucco was used in antiquity, in Russia, it appeared relatively recently - only in the XVIII century, when stone construction became widespread. The overall Europeanization of Russian culture also had an effect: building steel in the Western manner, and in European palaces, stucco decoration had long been one of the main means of decoration. In modern stucco vary historical styles. The most popular destinations are baroque rosettes and friezes with empire ornaments. In the portfolio of the studio decor "Vignola", named after the famous Renaissance architect, - hundreds of samples in classical styles. The studio, existing for more than 15 years, is headed by the artist and architect Valentin Shendyapin, many of the modules are his own designs. Vignola deals with interior design in general.
