In this interior, it was possible to create a single ensemble, linking the baroque bends with the purity of the straight lines of classicism, silver with aluminum. Architects Tatyana Itkina and Victoria Nersesyants explain the style-forming principle used to create the interior of this apartment: “No pomp! Of course, there are classical elements here. But since all the color and stylistic combinations are based on eclectics, Modern, but not glossy - this was the image of this apartment. “We wanted to avoid the sensation of the replica,” says Victoria. “On the contrary, we selected colors for interiors that are a bit muted, as if dusty.” This unusual approach found a response from the apartment owners, who fully trusted Victoria and Tatiana, who thought through the logical connections between all the elements of decor, furniture and accessories. The noble background in the interior should have been decorative coatings corresponding to fabrics selected for furniture and curtains. Tatiana and Victoria, in collaboration with Marat Ka, decorated the walls and ceilings with special finishing coatings. The texture and pattern of coatings in each of the rooms are different, but the surfaces everywhere are made a little rough. In the living room, the finish line is similar to natural stone, and there is a frieze with floral ornaments along the perimeter of the ceiling. “The effect of heat and depth created by this finish is incredible! With this coating, the ceiling looks higher than it actually is, even if it is dark, like, for example, here in the hallway,” says Tatiana. The flooring is common for the entrance area and the living room - Italian marble mosaic, in the rest of the rooms there is a parquet flooring. The ideological center of the living room is shifted relative to the actual center of the room - it was an Italian chandelier from a cascade of multi-colored crystal, matched to the main colors of the interior. It is located diagonally above a maroon coffee table. In the same complex deep burgundy tone painted wall, which housed a home theater (as well as a niche in the hallway). “As experience shows, the dark background around the screen is more comfortable for the eyes,” Tatiana adds. “Besides, there is a certain accent in the interior, a meaningful blow, where the silver of the frame of the plasma panel and the silver of the consoles look especially beautiful against the background of matte plaster.”Tatyana Itkina: "The decor of this apartment combines both truly classic and very modern motifs. The living room has velvet sofas, furniture is covered with silver, as if slightly worn from time to time. But we didn’t want to go completely into the atmosphere of antiquity, yet the interior should look modern ".
