"I am not a person whom I consider myself: I am not a designer, not an artist, not an architect, and not an art director!" - smiles Mike Mire, designer, architect, artist and art director of the studio Meire und Meire in Cologne. Since 1995, he has led many projects at DORNBRACHT. The new work of Mike World "System of energy restoration" is not just a model of an ideal bathroom, but a whole futuristic system of complete cleansing of the body and consciousness, consisting of six steps. A person is saturated with new energy with the help of sounds, aromas, water, multi-colored air streams, sleep. The installation was presented at the Abitare il Tempo exhibition in Verona. Mike Mire tells Salon-interior magazine readers about his invention - Energetic Recovery System - a mechanism for updating a person to acquire a new creative energy. The system is a transparent glass gallery- "tunnel", located in the garden. A person goes through six phases of purification and sets their parameters using a software remote control. The first phase is the Re-Entry. If he enters the first sector of this gallery in the morning, he chooses the "Sunrise" option in the program, and if in the evening - "Sunset". In this way, both special aromatization and a suitable sound arrangement are “programmed”. This is followed by the Re-Activation phase. At this stage, there is a feeling of physical renewal. It happens like this. Nozzles are installed on the walls, ceiling and floor: sea water irrigates the body from all sides. Third Stage - Re-Loading ("New Dive"): a person is immersed in a special silicone bath. It is made in the shape of a parallelepiped of soft elastic silicone. So when you go into it, it is, like “enveloping,” taking the form of a body. This stage of my project is conceived for the concentration of the "I": it is as if a person turns into an infant in the mother's womb — gains a sense of security, gets rid of negative emotions. The fourth is Re-Coding ("Decoding"): healing the mind with the help of multi-colored lighting and jets of hot air coming from holes in the aluminum floor. Fifth - Re-Birth ("Rebirth"): the most important, "sacred" phase. A man rests on a mattress with a velvety surface, covered with a linen bedspread and leather pillow. Intellectual tension disappears and spiritual reorganization takes place. And the final, sixth step of Re-Invention ("Recreation") implies a rest in the garden - the acquisition of a new state of consciousness and the acquisition of fresh energy. Water is the most valuable substance, the source of life, therefore there is also a Re-Cycling phase in the system. Used water is purified and nourishes the plants in the garden, they, in turn, saturate the air with oxygen, etc. This creates an almost natural water cycle.
