Almost all the trees growing on the site, you have saved. What is the reason for such attention to the environment? - The first mention of Barvikha dates back to 1627. This place is over 380 years old! The picturesque beauty of the Barvikhinsky landscape, the clean air, the peace and quiet of the local forest, the architectural and park ensemble of the Meiendorf castle create a special atmosphere. And it is difficult to imagine Barvikha without her pines. Therefore, the work seemed very important to preserve the landscape of the site. But at the same time it is relatively small, and we "increased" it by visual means. The house is surrounded by an open veranda about ten meters wide. She, along with the continuous glazing of the walls gives a feeling of free space. We decided to further enhance this effect by planting a Japanese garden here (and the Japanese know a lot about how to create a feeling of large volume with small forms).
